Tim Suprise is the founder, president and chairman of Arcadia Ales. Established in 1996, Tim saw this company grow from an artisanal brewery of handcrafted British-inspired ales and wood-fired pub cuisine to one of Michigan’s most recognizable and decorated craft breweries. Arcadia Ales are currently distributed in 10 states.
Tim started his career in public service and switched to private industry in the early 1980s. He joined Albany Engineered Systems as a field service technician where he stayed 9 years. From 1991 to 1996, he moved to Durametallic Corporation, now Flowserve Corporation, in Kalamazoo and quadrupled sales throughout the U.S.
Arcadia Ales is one of Michigan’s most recognizable and decorated craft breweries. Its ales have been awarded medals in the World Beer Championships, the World Beer Cup and the Great American Beer Festival.
Tim is a founding board member and past president of the Michigan Brewers Guild, currently a member of the Guild’s Government Affairs Committee, a past board member of the Kalamazoo County Family YMCA and chairman of its 1997 Invest in Youth Campaign.
