Established in 1893, Gallagher Uniform is a local, fifth generation, family-owned company providing innovative uniform programs and industrial laundry services to customers throughout Southwest Michigan and Northern Indiana. Still owned and operated by four brothers, John has been president since 2010. Services include the rental, cleaning and sale of industrial work uniforms, career apparel, towels, mats, mops and facility services. Gallagher Uniform continues to invest in state-of-the-art technology to improve the quality of business, enhance services and increase customer loyalty.
John has a business degree from Michigan State University (MSU) and is currently very active in the community. He is a trustee at the Miller Foundation, trustee and board chair of Miller College, vice chair and thirty-year executive board member of Battle Creek Unlimited and board member of Bronson Battle Creek, Semco Energy, BC Symphony and Battle Creek Area International Relations Committee. He was also the mayor of Battle Creek from 1993 to 1995.
John his wife Ann have three teenagers: a daughter at MSU, a daughter soon to be at MSU and an active son. Ann teaches business at WMU. In his free time, John enjoys running, boating and volunteerism.
